HAINES, Richard Franklin

Richard Franklin Haines, 81, Phoenix, (Ahwatukee) Arizona, passed away June 6, 2003. Dick was born August 30, 1921 in Goshen, Indiana.

He & his wife, Joy, came to Arizona in 1974 and moved to Ahwatukee in 1977. Dick served in the Air Force during WWII and flew 96 missions in the China/Burma theater. Dick was a mechanical designer at Motorola and retired in 1985.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by 2 children, Randy Haines of Eugene, Oregon & Robin Kaehr of Phoenix, Arizona & by 4 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10am, Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Mountain View Lutheran Church, 11002 S. 48th St., Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers the family encourages memorials to Neely Ray House c/o Banner Hospice Fund, 2830 E. Brown Rd., #14, Mesa, Arizona 85213. Arrangements by Mtn.
