MERRITT, Jimmie
Jimmie Merritt of Wickenburg died Dec. 26, 1993, in Phoenix.  He was 70.  Mr. Merritt, a 27-year resident of Arizona, came from Alabama, where he was born Aug. 31, 1923.  Survivors include a son, Johnny Merritt, of Phoenix; a daughter, Alice McCormick of Prescott; two granddaughters and one grandson.  Mr. Merritt was a heavy equipemtn operator before his retirement.  He was a World War II veteran.  Graveside services will be held today (Wednesday, Dec. 29) at 2 p.m. at the Veteran's National Cemetery on Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.  Veterans of Foreign Wars will officiate.
