HERNANDEZ, Nieves

Nieves Hernandez, 67, passed away June 9, 2003. She was born in Globe, AZ on August 5, 1935.

She attended St. Joseph's Nursing School and graduated in 1958. She worked for St. Joseph's Hospital Oncology Dept. Tower 6, and retired in 2000, after being there 42 years.

Survived by her husband of 44 years, Cruz, Jr., her children: Christopher (Sondra), Michael (Kathy), Jamie (Anita), Valerie (Patrick), her grandchildren, Jamie Jr., Damien, Francis, Mikaela, 7 step-grandchildren, Angela (2 step-great-grandchildren), Trisha, Denise, Shawn, Shannon, Sharlene, Eric.

Visitation will be held at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home at 4800 E. Indian School Rd. from 5-9pm, Friday, June 13, 2003 with Rosary being held at 7pm. Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24th St. on Saturday, June 14, 2003 at 10am. Interment St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, AZ.
