PEDERSON, Donald
Donald E. Pederson of Dawson, Minnesota, and a former Wickenburg resident died Nov. 3, 1993, in Dawson. He was 76. Mr. Pederson was born Jan. 3, 1917, in Chokio, Minnesota, and had lived in WIckenburg from 1980 until the spring of 1993. He went to work for International Harvester Co. in 1934 and while employed there he lived in Madison, Minn., Huron, S.D., Watertown, S.D., Canby, Minn., and Redfield, S.D. In 1947, he became the International Harvester dealer in Dawson and in 1965 he and Virgil Anderson formed the Anderson-Pederson, Inc., an International Truck Dealership. While in Dawson, he was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, serving as an usher, on the church council and as congregational president. He also served in the Chamber of Commerce, City Council, Park Board and the State Legislature and he was also an active member of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Pederson is survived by his wife, Mid; children David, Douglas and wife Brenda of Dawson, Nancy Reznieck and husband Larry of Washington; brother, Lee and wife Fran of Herman; sisters Jeanette Joranger and Carol Trost of Appleton, Alice Eitsert of Winona and Eleanor Christensen of Wickenburg; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services have been held.
