Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, June 2, 1942 VERNON TALLEY [sic] LAID TO REST Vernon Talley was laid to rest in the Wickenburg Cemetery following funeral services conducted by Rev. Ross Cleeland at the Wickenburg Chapel last Monday. Vernon would have been 10 years old June 29th, and resided four miles south of town with his parents, Mr and Mrs Leroy Talley. He died June 20th following an illness of three weeks. Besides his parents he is survived by one brother, William. H. L. Coffinger was in charge of funeral arrangements. Mrs Talley, mother of the boy, left this week for Redlands, Calif., to spend a few days withe her mother, Mrs Frank Emmel.
