GARCIA, Loreto Romero (Tito)

Douglas Dispatch, Douglas, Arizona Wednesday, December 30, 2009 October 31, 1949 - December13, 2009 Loreto “Tito” Romero Garcia passed away December 13, 2009, of a heart attack. Preceding him in death were his parents, Manuel Romero Teran and Trinidad G. Gutierrez. Surviving are children Teresa and Oscar Romero of Mexicali, Baja, California, Stepmother Maria J. Romero of Douglas, brothers and sisters Manuel G. Romero, Oscar Romero of Calexico, California, Emeterio Gutierrez, Rafael Gutierrez of Mexicali, Baja, California, Carmen Garcia of Calexico, California, Jose Gutierrez of Douglas, Linda Renney, Sylvia Romero, Manuel Romero of Douglas, Luz Hammerstrom, Martina Romero and Denise Romero of Tucson along with numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held at St. Elena Catholic Church on December 14, 2009. Burial followed at Jardin de Angeles in Mexicali. Tito will be remembered as a kind, loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.
