GARDNER, Eileen B.

Eileen B. Gardner, a resident of Elder's Ranch Group Home, Phoenix, AZ, died Monday, June 9, 2003. She was the wife of the late Richard C. Gardner. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Herbert E. Como and Blance Ritche Como She was a Radioman 3rd class in the Navy during World War II. Together with her husband they traveled extensively in Europe and worked at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey. She is survived by two sons, Michael of Phoenix and David of Littleton, MA and two grandchildren. Loving sister of Mary Gunning of West Lawn, PA, Jean P. Banks of Saugus, MA and Joan P. Belanger of Keene, NH. Graveside services at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Friday, June 13, 2003, 9:30am. Arrangements by Lundberg White Rose Chapel.
