GAUSMAN, Kathleen Strout

Kathleen Davis Gausman passed away Wednesday June 11, 2003 at the Beatitudes Care Center in Phoenix Arizona at the age of 95. Kathleen was born in Calais Maine on July 2, 1907 the daughter of Maurice and Flora Davis. She married Eliott G. Strout and lived with him in Milbridge, ME and the Boston area where she worked for many years at Sears Roebuck, and, following their retirement, in Clearwater Florida. After Eliott's death in 1976 she married William Gausman and moved to Phoenix. Mr. Gausman Died in 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Agatha McGuire of Cutler, ME and a granddaughter Julie K. Strout of Phoenix. She is survived by a son, Fred Strout, and his wife Georgia. A grandson, Bill, and his wife, Janet together with three great grandchildren, Brian, Sarah, and Laura also survive her. Services will be at Hansen's Mortuary 8314 N 7th St in Phoenix at 11am on Sat., June 14, 2003. Burial will be in Milbridge, ME. Published in The Arizona Republic on 6/13/2003.
