The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Saturday, January 16, 2010 Lyle R. Kennedy, 93, of Cottonwood died January 5, 2010. Lyle was born February 6, 1916 in Ionia, Michigan to the late Charles and Reva (Watkins) Kennedy. Lyle served in the US Army during WWII. Lyle worked for many years as a car hauler and was proud of the twenty eight years he drove all over the United States without accident. He was a member of VFW Post 7400 and Moose Lodge 1449. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Lyle is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty seven years, Beth Kennedy; his step-son Timothy McKeever (Naomi) of Cottonwood; his step-daughters Christine Canning (Tim) of Cottonwood and Joannne McKeever of Cottonwood; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
