All that was earthly of M. J. Francis, colorful Arizona labor leader, Maricopa county legislator and friend of the common people, was turned back to Mother Earth last Wednesday.

"M J" as he was known to thousands throughout the length and breadth of Arizona, died last Sunday afternoon. He had been sick but a few days.
