Elena Menchaca Armenta, 90, of Casa Grande Az, passed away April 10, 2003.
Visitation 12 noon-1pm on Friday, April 11, 2003 at Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel, 1575 E. Florence Blvd., Casa Grande, Arizona.

Elena Armenta, 90, of Casa Grande, a lifelong Arizonan, died April 10, 2003 at RTA Hospice House.
Visitation was from noon to 1 p.m. today at Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel. The funeral there followed at 1.
Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Armenta was born Aug. 18, 1912 in Thatcher to Jorge and Adela Menchaca. She was a homemaker and loved music, dancing and joking with everyone. She greeted all visitors to her home with respect. She loved to bake in her younger years. She loved camping, little animals and plants. Until age 87' she cut weeds, watered her plants and fed the birds.
Survivors include five daughters, Maria Alarcon of Stanfield, Celsa Alcantar of Phoenix, Anita Corralejo, Rosa Duran and Paula Villaecusa, all of Casa Grande; two sons, David Armenta and Catarino Garcia of Casa Grande; a sister, Jeanie Menchaca; a brother, Ernie Menchaca of Tucson; 41 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sons, three sisters, two brothers, two grandsons and a great-grandson.
