FITZGERALD, John T.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, April 12, 2003 John T. Fitzgerald, 91, of Tempe, Arizona, entered into rest Wednesday, April 9, 2003 in Scottsdale, AZ. He was a well known published, southwest area artist, retiring in 1976 from Motorola, after 14 years as a Commercial Artist. John a WWII, U.S. Army Veteran, awarded the Purple Heart among other decorations; also an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3513 in Scottsdale. His loving wife of 70 years, Crystal and son John W. Fitzgerald & wife Betti, son-in-law, Stanley Stubblefield, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren survives John. His daughter, Sandra Stubblefield, preceded him in death. Services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery (Mausoleum Chapel), 10940 E. Chandler Hgts Rd., Chandler, AZ. Visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to: Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3513, 7221 E.
