The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, April 12, 2003 Beatrice O. Wolfe, 67, of Surprise, AZ left her earthly dwelling on April 9, 2003 to begin a new and permanent life with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on Sept. 13, 1935 in Hughes, AR to Manuel and Antonia Olivares and moved to Northern Illinois as a teenager. She married her beloved husband, Paul April 9, 1974. She worked as a Quality Control Technician for Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago for 32 years and retired to Surprise, AZ in 1993. Bea loved helping people and volunteered for Interfaith providing meals for shut-ins. As an avid baseball fan, she was also a Sundancer volunteer for the Surprise Sports Complex. She was always actively involved in her church and served for many years as a Sunday school teacher and nursery caregiver. She was known for her generosity and was loved by all, especially her family. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Gloria and her parents, Manuel and Antonia Olivares. She leaves behind her Husband, Paul, a daughter, Lori Bond and husband Jim, son Richard Salinas and wife Leilani, son Thom Wolfe and wife Carlene, son Bob Wolfe and wife Julia and 13 grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brothers Jim Olivares and wife Joyce, Eli Olivares and wife Virginia, Emmanuel Olivares and wife Mary and sisters; Rose Bhatt and husband Rajani, Marty Veneman and husband Dick, Alice Browne, and Helen Hastings and husband Ron. Services will be held Monday, April 14, 2003 at Palm Vista Baptist Church at 17475 W. Bell in Surprise. Visitation at 10:00, Service at 11:00.
