BOYER, Charles Paul


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 13, 2003 Charles Paul Boyer, 83, of Peoria, AZ. Passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2003 in Peoria. He was born April 22, 1919 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Guy and Grace Mears Boyer. He was married to Bernice V. Boyer, who preceded him in death in 1989. He is survived by a son, Charles G. (Dannye) Boyer of Alamosa, CO; a daughter, Judie (Larry) Lemons of Peoria, AZ, 3 grandchildren, Carol Cooley, Rebecca Byers, and Andrew Hollamon, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Maege Selke of Martinsville, IN. Mr. Boyer was a retired manager for Mountain States Telephone Co., and was a past president, Coronado Chapter, Telephone Pioneers of America. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, during World War 2. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 P.M., Monday, (04/14/03) at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ, with visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M.
