The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 13, 2003 Rose Setka Carlson, 94. Born on December 9, 1908 in Globe, Arizona. Moved to Sacramento in 1941. Died peacefully at home on April 8, 2003. Beloved mother of Eva Perich of Sacramento and Matt Vujevich of San Jose. Preceded in death by husbands Stephen Vujevich and William Carlson and son John Vujevich. Also by brothers, Matt and Martin and sister Annie Koury. Loving mother-in-law of Charlotte Vujevich of Sacramento and Donna Vujevich of San Jose; Stepmother of Dorothy Manford of Oregon. Sister of Katie Baskett, Steve, Nellie and Eva Setka of Arizona. Devoted grandmother of eight, and great-grandmother of nine, with many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her generosity and great love of people. She loved to read and garden and was a lifelong learner with a keen memory. She was blessed to have many dear friends and relatives with whom she shared love and support. She will be greatly missed.
