Dr. Finney's extensive service to his community included: serving as a long-term Board member and president of the Illinois Chiropractic Association, District #118 School Board member and president, and president of the Danville Country Club. He was also a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge.
Anyone who knew Gene, knew of his love for the game of golf. Later in life, he managed to shoot at or below his age every year, just recently scoring a 79. And, as any golfer knows, that is an accomplishment. Gene, Dad, Grandpa, BoPa, you will always be in the hearts of your family, patients, friends and golfing buddies.
