GEIGER, John Allen

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 13, 2003 John Allen Geiger, 79, of Gilbert, died Friday, April 11, in Chandler. A native of Minot, ND, Mr. Geiger had lived in Arizona since 1967, and worked as a plant supervisor in public utilities and at the former Spreckles Sugar company plant in south Chandler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; one daughter, Cecelia Alexander; four sons, Eugene, Stanley, Jerald (Louise), and Marcus (Charlene); nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren, a sister, Della (Richard) Heald also survives. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston, Chandler. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary, 480-963-6351. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
