John was born March 23, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife Virginia; daughters, Julie Engelken, and Colleen Rogers; son, Bryan Ginter; brothers, Jerome and Gene Ginter; sisters, Patricia Allen and Marianne Ginter; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8PM on Sunday, April 13 and Monday, April 14 with rosary Monday at 7:00 PM at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix, AZ. Service will be Tuesday, April 15, 2003, 9:30 AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 330 W. Coral Gables Dr., Phoenix, AZ. Burial will be Wednesday, April 16th, 1:00 PM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ. Contributions can be made in his name to St. Paul's Catholic Church, 330 W.
