The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 13, 2003 Samuel Elliott McGuire, 80, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on April 11, 2003 in Mesa. He was born October 24, 1922 in Sioux City, Iowa. He had been employed by Mountain Bell. He is survived by his wife Betty McGuire, brother Paul and his sons Thomas McGuire deceased his wife Frances, Larry, (Judy), Tim, (Kathy) and Pat (Lynn) as well as 9 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at 12:00 at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona with a 1-hour prior visitation at the mortuary.
