The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, April 13, 2003 Michael Paul Zaino, "The world will little note nor long remember what we say here, but will never forget what we did here". Mike Zaino died April 7, 2003, after having made the world a better place for his having been in it. A man with a generous heart and gentle soul, he will be long remembered by the people whose lives he touched throughout the Phoenix area. Born December 22, 1927 in Long Island, New York to Italian immigrants, Mike leaves behind daughters, Vicki Simpson and Paulette Zaino of Phoenix and son Christopher Zaino of China; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on April 23, 2003 at 7:00 p.m in the chapel @ St Louis the King, 4331 W Maryland Ave. Phx. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
