WHEELER, Glen West


Glen West Wheeler, April 7, 1922-June 12, 2003, was born in Lewiston, Utah to Lester G. Wheeler and Ruby May Hodges Wheeler. He is survived by Donna Reese Wheeler (wife), Herbert H. Wheeler and Ray Wheeler (brothers), Carma Wheeler Hamp (sister), Barry Wheeler (son), Janis Mackey (daughter), Chris Wheeler (son), 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mr. Wheeler was a retired USAF Lt. Colonel, having served his country for 25 years through WWII, Korea and Viet Nam as a pilot and instructor pilot and served on the Lewiston City Council for 4 years. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in ward and stake positions and as an ordinance worker in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2003 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fairfield Ward, 933 East Brown Road in Mesa, AZ, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
