Lou Ann Boring of Clay Springs, 75, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at her home in Clay Springs. She was born Jan. 22, 1935 in Clay Springs to Louis Bryant and Lois Elsie (Mosley) Garvin.
Lou Ann was very proud of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an extremely caring and giving person. Lou Ann had a love of animals. She was an excellent cook as well.
She is survived by six children, Joe Hancock, Vance Hancock, Anna Howard, Lou Etta Davis, Jon Kuhn and Monty Spear; 28 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 11 brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by son, Levi Hancock.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at the Clay Springs Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with a visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in the Clay Springs Cemetery.
