CHENEY, Rhoda Jean

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona 01/29/2010 Rhoda Jean Cheney went home to be with the Lord Jan. 19, 2010, in Show Low. She was born Feb. 26, 1957, in Whiteriver. Rhoda is survived by her daughters Lenifer James, Dena Declay; son Minor Declay Jr.; five grandchildren; sons-in-law BJ James, Bobby Bones; parents Angela and Rustin Cheney Sr.; sister Pearl Cheney; brother: Gibson Cheney Sr., Starling Cheney Sr., Jefferson Cheney Sr., Rustin Cheney Jr., Robinson Cheney Sr., Lloyd Cheney Sr., Floyd Cheney Sr. and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Rhoda's body will be brought back to her residence at 606 N. 1st Ave in Whiteriver for a one night awake starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29. Funeral services will held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Canyon Day Miracle Church with Bishop Leroy Tate officiating. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
