The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona January 22, 2010 Leoma Cheek Gibson died Jan. 8, 2010, in Casa Grande. She was born April 27, 1922, La Mesa, Texas. Leoma was the most loving and giving person anyone could ever know. She gave without taking and a hug and kiss from this special lady were priceless. Her family was the center of her universe and she was theirs. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally and extended that same love to those who married into her family. "Goodbye Grandma, we'll miss you." She is survived by three sons; three daughters-in-law; 12 grandchildren, six grandchildren-in-law, 11 great grandchildren and her husband of 66 years. She was preceded by father, mother, older brother, younger sister, and a grandson.
