West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona February 5, 2010 Simon Marceus, 67, of Tolleson died Jan. 31, 2010, in Phoenix. Mr. Marceus was born June 11, 1942, in Haiti and moved to Arizona in May 2008. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Raymonde Bertrand; two daughters, Rhita Etienne Bercy and Paule Yverose Dorrelus; one son, Kevin Anderson Emmanuel; his mother, Marie Jeanne Villard; one sister, Marie Izma; five brothers, Jean Baptiste, Pierre Paul, Belony, Ernest, Clairvoyant; three grandparents, Olimpcia Pierre and Mr. and Mrs. Deceus Marceus; and five grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Feb. 8, with a service to follow at 5 p.m., at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
