LAWSON, SR., Lester

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona February 5, 2010 Lester Lawson Sr. entered into rest Jan. 30, 2010, in Show Low. He was born July 14, 1931, in Arizona. He will be dearly missed by all, but never forgotten. Lester is survived by his guardian/niece Velma Ivins; children Lester Lawson Jr., Lena Watt, Philleo Lawson Sr. and Jovita Lawson; son-in-law John Watt; sister Christine Lawson; brothers: Logan Lawson Sr. and Donald Lawson; granddaughters Johnna Watt, Naureen Lawson and Christa Tenijieth and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by Virginia Lawson John, Joe Dan Lawson Sr., Henry Lawson, Adelalde D. Lawson and Eulah Nagle. A one night wake will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at his residence, North Dale Drive in Cibecue. Home services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the family residence with Pastor Theresa Lee officiating. Interment will be at the Shadow Mountain Cemetery in Cibecue. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
