Annie Bess Griffin, age 82, a longtime resident of Glendale, passed away June 13, 2003 in Peoria, AZ. She was born March 6, 1921 to John & Sudie Hailey in Nugent, TX.

A loving mother & grandmother who was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Bently Griffin; great grandson, Zachary; and brothers, John & Ottis Hailey.

She is survived by her son, Benny Griffin; daughter, Betty (Carl) Payne; brother, LeRoy Hailey; 7 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation 6:00 P.M., Funeral Service at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave. Glendale, AZ. Interment will be at Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale, AZ.
