LEYVAS, Thomas R.

Thomas R. Leyvas, age 53 of Phoenix, AZ went to be with his Savior on June 11, 2003. He was Chaplin and Past Commander for American Legion, Post #41.

Survivors include a son, Thomas, Jr.; four daughters, Frances Leyvas, Nicole Sanchez, Dianna Leyvas, Kristi Leyvas; a brother, Armando Plascencia; two sisters, Isabell Vasquez and Mary Leyvas; 14 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends

The family will recieve friends on Monday, June 16, 2003, from 6p.m.- 8p.m. at Universal Memorial Center, 1100 E. Jefferson St. Rosary at 7pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, 9am from Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 909 E. Washington St. Interment will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Arrangements have been entrusted to Universal Memorial Center, LLC.
