PADILLA, Armando


Armando Padilla, 51, of Sanders, died at his home in Sanders on June 11, 2003. He was born Nov. 27, 1951 in Holbrook, to Valentine and Carlotta Padilla. He spent most of his life in Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School in 1969. Shortly after graduation he joined the US Army and served in Vietnam from 1969 to 1973. Armando was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. Survived by his mother, Carlotta Padilla, Scottsdale; his children, Dustin Padilla, Snowflake, daughters, Tebi Petterson, Lexington, KY, Allonna and Echo Padilla, Snowflake, stepsons, David Parker, Kenneth, Thomas, Shannon and Davori Crowther and stepdaughters, Teri Parker, Davori Smith, Samantha and Andrina Baldonado and Carla Brooks; sisters, Jenny Tostado, Holbrook and Carla Brooks, Scottsdale; brothers, Freddie Padilla, Holbrook and Valentine Padilla, Scottsdale; also four nieces and two nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Valentine Padilla, Sr., and a nephew, Mark Tostado. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2003, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook.
