KNAPE, Harold L.

Harold L. Knape, age 96 passed away May 2, 2003 at the Silver Valley Adult Care Home in Prescott Valley, Az where he had lived for the last 4 years. Harold was born on February 5, 1907 in Etna, Nebraska and considered himself a native Arizonian living here over 80 years. He worked as a carpenter in construction before his retirement. He and his wife Gladys shared 58 years together before her death in 1999. He loved to fish and enjoyed spending time with his family. Harold's family said he spent a long and fulfilling life and will be missed by family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Irving, Arthur and Raymond and Sister Martha. Harold is survived by his nieces Linda Smith - Prescott Valley, Az Verna Hegeman - Phoenix, Az lmma Jean McIver, MaryAnn McCrea, Carolyn Butler, Kathy and Nancy Knape Nephews John, Wayne, and Jim Knape and Sister in Law Gloria Knape. Funeral Services for Harold will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at 11:00 A.M at Sunrise Funeral Home 8167 E. Hwy 69 Prescott VaIIey, Az with a commital service to be held at 2:00 P.M at East Resthaven Park Cemetery in Phoenix.
