The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, April 15, 2003 Claire Carter, 80, of Poenix, AZ., passed away Saturday, April 12, 2003 at her home. Mrs. Carter, a homemaker, was born in Provo, UT., moving to the valley in 1950. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Walter; sons, Ray (Carol), Richard & Glenn; a daughter, Lanni (Don) Reese; a brother, Robert Edwards; a sister, Gayle Haldeman; sister-in-law, Virginia Tolbert; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grand. Services will be Wednesday, April 16, at 2:00 pm at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial to follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W.
