Bertha Cons Navarro, passed away on April 12, 2003, after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was born to Carmen and Loreto Cons in Phoenix, AZ on October 9, 1925.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Roberto, sons Eduardo (Sharon), Robert Jr., (Elizabeth); daughters Socorro Rada (Tony), Alice Hernandez (Thomas); 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; 3 brother-in-laws; 7 sister-in-laws, and their families.
Bertha was the owner of Los Navarro's Mexican Food. Bertha was the rock of our family and will be deeply missed by all. The love and guidance she consistently showed her family has influenced us all and is now the foundation of our lives. Her hard work is done and she is now resting and rejoicing with our heavenly father.
Bertha's life will be celebrated on April 15, 2003, with visitation and wake services from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, AZ.
Funeral services will also be held at Chapel of the Chimes on April 16, 2003, at 11:00 am.
Internment will follow funeral services at Holy Cross Cemetery, 99th Ave and Thomas Rd.
