Graydon N. Schultz of Phoenix passed away April 13, 2003 at the age of 96. Graydon was born in Colby, Wisconsin on April 11, 1907. He graduated from High School in Dorchester, WI and obtained his B. of S. Degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
He married Lauretta Wichser in Osceola, WI on June 23, 1933. He was a math educator for many years in Wisconsin where he also owned an IGA Store for 12 years. During WWII he was a field director for the American Red Cross and Director of the Civilian Conservation Corp. In 1957 he and his wife Lauretta moved to Glendale, AZ where he resumed teaching geometry and algebra at Dysart High School until his retirement in 1971. His wife Lauretta passed away in 1972 and he married Katherine Seabury in 1980. A brain tumor claimed her life in 1991. He married his current wife Marian L. Senter in 1995.
He is survived by his wife Marian, his daughter & son-in-law, Jean & Bob Warnke of Orinda, CA; son & daughter-in-law Tom & Patty Schultz of Phoenix; six grandchildren, Nick Schultz of Seattle, WA, Kristine Schultz of Portland, OR, Kathleen & husband Tom Clifford of Litchfield Park, AZ, and Carrie & husband Tom Law of Logan, UT, Mark Warnke of Walnut Creek, CA, Katherine & husband Scott Carpenter of Irvine, CA; four great-grandchildren, Colby, Caleb, Cameron & Carter.
Visitation, at 1:00 P.M., Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at Chapel of the Chimes, Glendale, AZ. Interment following at Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale, AZ.
