Harold Edward Kidd, 85, of Phoenix, went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2003. He was born on July 14, 1917 in Seymour, IN.
He was a member of North Phoenix Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army Air Corp as a 1st Lieutenant during World War II. He received World War II Victory Ribbons, Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with 6 Battle Stars, Air Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, one Overseas Service Bar, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon. He flew 35 missions with the 13th Air Force, 370th Bombardier Squadron "The Long Rangers'.
He was "Our beloved Husband, Father, and Brother'.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Kidd; daughters, Dianne E. Bennett, Sherry L. Lutz, Cyndi A. Scott; son, Peter Kidd III; brothers, Donald Kidd and Thomas Kidd; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held in Steamboat Springs, Colorado at a later date. www.almooregrimshaw.com,
