Dr. Wallace L. Lancaster, 82, of Scottsdale died April 13, 2003. Born October 12, 1920 in York, Nebraska, he retired as a Colonel from the U.S. Army in 1975, having served during both World War II and Korea.
Following his service he was on the faculty at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and moved to Arizona 14 years ago. Dr. Lancaster was a member of the Arizona and National Dental Societies, Valley Presbyterian Church, the Purple Heart Organization and Military Order of World Wars.
He is survived by his wife Rachel, son Fredrich, daughter-in-law Shirley and a sister Maxine Wright.
Memorial Services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 17th at Valley Presbyterian Church - Kilgore Chapel, 6947 E. McDonald Drive, Paradise Valley, AZ.
Memorial contributions are requested to Westminster Village Assistance Fund, 12000 N. 90th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. Messinger Indian School Mortuary assisted the family.
