Born in Rootstown, Ohio, Donald was a World War II Navy veteran who served in the South Pacific. He moved to Phoenix in 1966 where he worked as diesel technician for 22 years. Donald was a member of the American Legion Post I in Phoenix. He is survived by his wife Ethel; brother Glenn; 4 children Peggy, Jim, Matt, and John; 3 stepchildren Debbie, Sheila, and Brian; and 8 grandchildren.
