The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 16, 2003 Clifford Puckett Sr., died Saturday, April 12, 2003 in Mesa, AZ following a lengthy illness. He was 79. He was born on November 7, 1923 in Redondo Beach, California and has resided in Arizona since 1968. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and served during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Dixie Puckett; son, Cliff Puckett, Jr. (Lisa); 4 daughters, Kathy Herbert (Jack), Anne MacKay (Steve Brown), Pam Cannon (Michael Fritz), Cindi Hunt (Jim); sister, Mary Lou Taylor; brother, R. L. Puckett; stepsons, Nick Pearson (Janet), Del Pearson; 13 grandchildren: 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 18, 2003 at Matthew B. Juan Post #35 of The American Legion, 2240 W. Chandler Blvd. in Chandler. Contributions to Hospice Family Care, 1550 S. Alma School Rd. #102, Mesa, AZ 85210 have been suggested by his family.
