The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 16, 2003 Harry Skiba, 85, passed away on April 14, 2003 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born April 8, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois. He was an Army Air Corp. World War II veteran. He had worked for Motorola in the Research and Development Office and retired after 35 years. He is survived by his wife Caroline Skiba and two daughters Ruthann Claxton, and Carol Valdez; two brothers John Skiba and Bill Skiba as well as two grandsons Eric and Travis Claxton. Services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2003 at 11am at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 6063 E. Arbor Avenue, Mesa, Arizona 85206. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
