The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, January 26, 2010 On Aug. 18, 1918, Philomene Amelia Pumala was born in Ironwood, Mich., and on Jan. 23, 2010, she joined our Lord and her deceased parents, Andrew and Josephine (Sirko) Stupak, both from Austria/Hungary; her siblings, Andrew, Francis, Agnes, Josephine (Bowcut) and Bernard; daughter Rita Wick; granddaughter Nancy Wick; and grandsons Phillip Bunjovac and Vincent Bosanac. Philomene left behind her husband, Carl Pumala; daughter by a first marriage, Patricia (Bosanac) (Ted) Bunjovac; son Joseph (Paula) Bosanac; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; by her second marriage, three stepdaughters, Carol (Robert) Pellow, Janet (Jerry) Whippie, Janice (David) Maki, and many grandchildren. A rosary and a memorial mass will be at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 N. 35th Avenue, Phoenix.
