HUDDLESTON, Eugene (Gene)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona February 9, 2010 Eugene (Gene) Huddleston died Jan. 28, 2010, after a short fight with cancer. He was born March 2, 1932, in Prescott in a home delivery. Gene spent four years in the Navy and 14 years working for the Santa Fe Railroad. He also worked many summers for the Forest Service. He was preceded in death by his daughter Ruth Ann, who was killed in a street accident at the age of 16. Gene is survived by his children Gina Limesand of Phoenix; Aaron Huddleston of Minnesota and Barry Huddleston of Snowflake; six grandchildren Trevor, Korassa and Ashley of Boise, Idaho; Elizabeth and Zachery of Snowflake and Heather of Phoenix. He is also survived by three sisters Sylvia, Geneva and Estelle and brother Melvin. A memorial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Snowflake Church (4-1/2 miles outside of Snowflake on Concho Road).
