Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, Feb 10th, 2010 Mrs. Martha G. Martin, 89, of Cutler, Ariz., passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at Suncrest Healthcare Nursing Home in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born in San Carlos, Ariz., on March 23, 1920, the daughter of Hadly and Kate (Naltway) Hado. She was a lifetime resident of Arizona and a homemaker. She enjoyed making quilts and beautiful woven baskets, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Martin; her sons, Lambert, Wilford and Gilbert Martin; her brothers, Richard, Fred and Preston Galson; and her sister, Margaret Cook. She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Suder, of Phoenix, and Flora LeCroy, of Chandler; her sons, Milford, Clifford, Huebert, Delbert and Christopher Martin, all of San Carlos; 29 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren. A wake will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12 at Martha Martin’s residence on Skill Center Road. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at San Carlos Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Thomas Naumann officiating. Interment will follow at the Martin’s Family plot. Lamont Mortuary of Globe is assisting the family.
