Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, Feb 3rd, 2010 Lucia J. Chacon Cisneros, 66, was born on April 12, 1943 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Robert and Emilia Chacon. She passed away on Jan. 29, 2010. Lucy “LuLu” grew up in Miami, Ariz., but spent most of her teenage years in New Mexico on her grandparents’ ranch (Jacinto and Rosario Placensio), tending to cows, chickens and anything else you would find on a ranch. She didn’t finish high school but she did get her G.E.D. and came back to Arizona and attended school to become an accountant. She eventually went into the nursing field and became a certified nurses assistant, and also a caretaker for the elderly for many years. She also belonged to an Optimus Club in Maricopa where she was devoted to raising money for different charities. Lucia is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Emilia Chacon; brother Bobby Chacon; grandson, Miguel Garcia “Micky;” and loving husband, Filadelfio Jose Cisneros. She is survived by her sons and daughters, Gina (Gabriel) Islava, Robert (Connie) Ramos, David (Misha) Ramos, Frank Ramos, Bianca (Lori) Ramos, Mark (Corina) Chacon, Virginia Propec, Dorthy (Armondo) Horta, Bernice (Gary) Whittney, Phil (Grace) Cisneros, and Tammy Cisneros; brothers and sisters, Pilar Carbajal, Remmy (Martha) Chacon, Sam (Yolanda) Chacon, Mary (Al-deceased) Benitez, Sylvia (David) Ramos, Lydia Olmeda, Rita Chacon, Susie (Jhonny-deceased) Canizales, Ray (Corina) Chacon, Debbie (Richard) Hernandez, Jaime (Sara) Sisneros, Eloy (Florence) Sisneros, Fred (Susan-deceased) Cisneros, and Dilly Trujillo; and many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lucy will be missed by all who knew her, and she will be on our minds and in our hearts forever. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 844 Sullivan St., Miami, Ariz. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament.
