Leo Bishop, 68, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Decatur, IL, died 10:25 a.m. Sunday, May 11, 2003 in his daughter's home in Illinois. Leo Bishop was born June 6, 1934 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Robert C. Bishop and Irene E. Smith Bishop. He worked for Qwest. He was a member of the Italian Club and the American Legion. He was an Air Force veteran. Surviving are his sons, Rick (Tina) of Florida, Clifford II of Illinois and Brian (Jennifer) of AZ; daughters, Caren Hobbs (Donald) of IL, Debra Kennedy (Doug) of IL, Laurie Bishop all of IL; 19 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents. Memorial service 11am, Friday, 6/20/03 at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School. Published in The Arizona Republic on 6/18/2003.
