BURNES, Werdna L. (M.D.)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, February 7, 2010 Werdna L. Burnes, MD, 75, of Sun Lakes, AZ went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2010. He was born on February 24, 1934 in Carnegie, OK to Bill and Ruth Burnes. He enjoyed his medical practice in Huntington Beach, CA. along with spending time with family and friends, golfing, traveling and church activities. He is survived by his wife, Terri, children Bryan, Kim, and Greg, brother Weldon, and grandson Trevor. Lee was preceded in death by his parents and son Brent. A celebration of Lee's life will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 11:00 AM at AZ Community Church, 9325 S. Rural Rd. Tempe, AZ. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
