Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 28, 2004 Helen M. Garner, 91, of Phoenix, passed away January 23, 2004. Helen was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, September 29, 1912. She is survived by sisters Lu Conrad, Jo Martin, brother Bob McCall; children Margaret Garner, Joseph Gamer and three grandchildren; Matthew, Will and Katherine. Helen was an elementary school teacher in Phoenix for many years and an active member of First Baptist Church. Service will be held at 10am on January 28 at First Baptist Church, 7000 N. Central. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church.
