FRANK, Robert E.


Robert E. Frank, 81 was born on February 18, 1922 in Boulder, CO the son of Irwin and Orpha Frank. He passed away on May 3, 2003. He married Barbar J. Hurst on October 2, 1943. He served in the US Navy during WWII and was at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. He was a proud member of the Pearl Harbor Survivor's Association, and also the Fleet Reserve Branch 163. He belonged to VFW Post 9398, American Legion Post 39, DAV Chapter 8, Liberty Lodge #134 in Littleton, CO, the Denver Consistory, and the EL Jebel Shrine in Denver. Mr. Frank worked for the General Services Administration of the US Govt as an Operating Engineer from where he later retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irwin and Orpha Frank, a brother, Kenneth F. Frank, and a daughter, Nancy Jean Frank. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara, daughters, Sharon Turner, Debbie Edens (Ron), Sandy McCluskey (Mike), grandsons, Scott Turner (Ruthelyn), John Turner (Penny), Rob Edens (Laurie), Rick Edens (Jill); granddaughter, Megan Mc-Cluskey, and 8 great-grand-children. Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 9, 2003 at 11:00 am at Read Hall, 320 N. 55th Place, Mesa, AZ. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Rd.
