Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 28, 2004 Maria M. Guerrero, 85, passed away peacefully, January 25, 2004, with her family around her. Maria is survived by her daughter Carmen (Fred Verdugo), granddaughters, Veronica (Mark Lomell), Lydlett (Leo Esperza), grandsons, Fred Verdugo (Marisela), Ralph Verdugo, 10 great- grandchildren of Phoenix Az, sister Ramona (Ruben Longoria) of Pico Rivera, CA and many friends and family in Douglas, Az. Maria was a strong woman with a great spirit who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation Wednesday, January 28th, 5-8pm at Abel Funeral Services, 1627 N. 51st Avenue, Phoenix, Az. Graveside service Thursday, January 29, 2004, 10:30 am, Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren Street, Phoenix Az.
