BOOTH, John D.


John D. Booth, 85, a retired ironworker who moved to Phoenix 13 years ago from Indianapolis, Indiana, died yesterday (August 30, 1967) in St. Joseph's Hospital. Mr. Booth, 1519 W. Washington, had been a member of the Ironworkers Union 61 years, including Local 75 in Phoenix. He was born in Kentucky. Masonic services will be at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 330 N. 2nd Ave. Friends may call there after noon today. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Sybil; two sons, John W. and Edward, both of Phoenix; a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Toney of Wichita; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
