FRANCIS, Roy


Rosary for Roy Francis, 67, who died Monday, August 28, 1967, in a hospital while vacationing in Alamosa, Colorado, will be recited at 8 p.m. today in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback. Mass of Requiem will be said at 9 a.m. tomorrow in Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8620 N. Seventh St. Mr. Francis, 16806 N. 44th St., was a retired rancher. Born in Custer County, Oklahoma, he moved to the west Phoenix area 55 years ago. He owned a ranch at Grand Canyon 15 year before retiring in 1957 and moving to Phoenix. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and a Masonic lodge here. Survivors include his wife, Marian; five sons, Oscar of Yuma, Don of Phoenix, Gene of Buckeye and Ray and Roy, both of Paradise Valley; two daughters, Ruthie and Cathy, both of Paradise Valley; two brothers, Lee of Kingman and Henry of Project City, California; a sister, Joe O'Connell of Phoenix; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
