WHITMAN, Mary

(Maiden Name: White)

Graveside rites for Mrs. Mary Whitman, 34, who died of cancer Sunday, August 27, 1967, in Phoenix Indian Hospital, will be at 9 a.m. today in the San Tan Cemetery on the Gila River Indian Reservation.  

Mrs. Whitman, 1705 W. Latham, was born on the reservation and had resided most of her life in Phoenix.  Survivors include her husband, Milford; a daughter, Caroldean White; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Caroldine Ortiz and Mrs. Betty Saucedo, all of Phoenix; a stepson, Leiland Whitman of Wisconsin; her mother, Mrs. Lula Antone; and three brothers, Billman, Raymond and Sylvester White, all of the reservation.  Rosary was recited yesterday in Sunset Chapel.
